The Elite Program is designed to provide competitive experiences for athletes aspiring to be on the USA National Team. This program requires the gymnasts to train an average of 20 to 32 hours per week depending on their level. Here at AAGA we have a pre-elite and elite program available and the participation is by invitation only.

junior olympic gymnastics

The Junior Olympic program was created to give an opportunity for every gymnast to reach their full potential in the sport.  The program includes levels 3 through 10. Gymnasts competes compulsory & optional routines that are composed of certain requirements where they can advance from level to level at their own pace,

In order to compete in a sanctioned competition, an athlete must be a registered USA Gymnastics Athlete Member. 90% of all college gymnasts come from the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic program.

Trampoline & Tumbling (T&T)

This team is for both boys and girls, ages 5 to 18.  There are 4 events in the competitions – trampoline, tumbling, double-mini, and synchronized trampoline.  We train Level 1-10 and Elite at AAGA and compete at state, regional, and national levels.  Since this sport became an Olympic event, the sport started spreading throughout the US and the world.

xcel gymnastics

Our Xcel program is designed to give gymnasts more time in the gym than our recreational classes and also allows them to compete against other gyms throughout the state. Rather than class once a week like our Recreational programs, our Xcel gymnasts train twice a week from anywhere between 3-5 hours total depending on the level. In comparison, a JO gymnast will train between 9-16 hours in the gym each week.

Xcel gymnasts will have four to six competitions throughout the season. Xcel is a competitive program, but allows the gymnasts and their families other opportunities outside of the gym!
